I am so excited to announce I'm finally doing it!! Ever since moving to @ridgwaycolorado I have felt a strong pull to host ecstatic dance here. Something about the dramatic peaks and dry desert beckon to be celebrated and danced upon, and what better time than around the Spring Equinox and Libra full moon + lunar eclipse.

Dance has been a big part of my life always. But I’ve found ecstatic dance to be not only fun and freeing, but also transformative, enlightening, empowering, and a powerful embodiment practice. With a curated selection of ambient tunes by
@dj_straylight to drop you in, our dance floor at @ridgwayfuse will become a sanctuary for you to let loose, move, groove and free your mind.

Join us for a night of movement, freedom of expression, ambiance, and fun! This immersive experience will open you to a state of flow and feeling and allow for a journey of reconnection back to yourself. Come to move and groove in the high vibe music, sacred space, and conscious community.

Whether you’re a dancing queen/king or think you have two left feet (you don't!) this experience is for you. Dance is our birthright and the universal language of the soul. So, grab your friends, kick off your shoes, and dance the night away with us!

Hot Yoga @ Ridgway Yoga Shala

Picture
Hot Vinyasa is a dynamic practice that will challenge, strengthen, and uplift you both physically and mentally. It is set to upbeat music, and a yoga inspired message will be offered for you to incorporate on and off the mat. This practice moves through seven doorways or stages, starting by creating sacred space and igniting the spirit or breath. Then we light the fire through a series of warmups including Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) A, B & C.

The warm up prepares the body for strong holding postures and finishes with yin and conscious surrender in savasana. A sweat towel, water, and a sense of adventure are strongly suggested!

Join Marisa Joan and me as we gather in sisterhood to celebrate the new moon, a time of beginnings to reflect, release, and set intentions. Expect herbal tea, cleansing breath work, journaling, yoga nidra, and the magic of sisterhood.

Our intention is to create a safe space for women to gather, connect, and support one another along side the cyclical nature of the moon cycle. Each gathering will have coordinating themes and activities to connect you to the astrological aspects of the moon.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It is practiced lying down so that you may get comfortable and draw your attention inwards, drift between the states of wakefulness and sleep, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and you fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

What To Bring
Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, journal and anything else you need to feel comfortable (laying on the Earth outside) or would like to infuse with the energy of the new moon.

Where
We will be gathering in the forest behind the homes on Meadow Estates Drive. There is open parking on the left side of the complex when you drive in. After parking, walk to the right side of the complex to #105 where we will meet and walk down the hill together. We'll be gathering in the circle.

Summer Series Details & Pricing
Mark your calendar to join us for this summer's New Moon Sister Circles June 29, July 27 and August 27. Ticket prices are on a sliding scale from $20-35 so that you may pay what you are able or join us for all three circles for $55.

Women of all ages are welcome, including babies and children.

Spring Rituals, Cycle-Syncing & Sedona

Happy day, last day of winter, energy rising!! So much has been shifting in our world, our ability to ride the waves has been tested, and yet here we are: resilient, strong, and continuously evolving. The only constant is change, right?!

I uprooted from my long time home in Austin to give my soul more space to breathe and explore amongst the mountains of Colorado's Western Slope. It wasn't the easiest transition mid-Covid winter, but the more I get quiet and connect with the nature and beauty around me, everything in me says "Yes."

Four Phases & Cycle-Syncing

I've always sought closer connection to nature, her cycles, her seasons, and the elements. I've also found deeper meaning and healing within my own cycles. Educating myself about the cycle of my energy and hormones has been so healing. As a self proclaimed "movement junkie," I will go-go-go to my own detriment. After burning out physically and energetically, suffering injury, fatigue, chronic pain, and hormonal imbalances - I've finally learned to listen to the innate wisdom of my body. And oh, what a difference it has made!

Did you know that - until now - most women have been taught to exercise, eat, and live like a man, who has a 24-hour hormone cycle, instead of living in tune with our 28-day cycle? We are created equal, but we are not created the same. Educating myself on the female 28-day hormone cycle has changed my life in more ways than one.

Some of the shifts I have experienced since syncing my lifestyle, diet and workouts to my cycle:
  • I am no longer fatigued
  • I have a regular, nearly PMS-free period
  • No more hormonal skin breakouts or melasma
  • Little to no mood swings
  • Body is injury-free, healthy and stronger than ever at age 38
  • I have maintained lean muscle while working out less
  • Increased libido
  • Able to offer myself compassionate space to rest without criticism or guilt
  • Deeper connection to my body and her wisdom
I want to share this wisdom with you and all women - which is why I created Four Phases: cycle-synced wisdom, workouts, yoga and lifestyle for women. We deserve to be empowered and not shamed by our cycle. It is our superpower, not our burden to hide.

Leading up to the launch of Four Phases, I'm hosting a workshop "Cycle Syncing 101" to explain cycle-syncing basics. Learn why you should be cycle-syncing and simple lifestyle tips to balance hormones, achieve fitness goals, reduce PMS, support fertility, and increase libido. Workshop will be live via ZOOM Sunday, March 28th at 6pm CST.

Attendees will not only receive information to launch their cycle-syncing journey, but also access to the Four Phases membership platform at a reduced price AND a $300 discount off Wild + Free Sedona a yoga, hiking and healing retreat.

Wild & Free Sedona

  • Wild + Free Sedona is an immersive experience to recalibrate and connect ever more deeply to the heart and soul of your being and together raise the collective vibration on the planet.
  • Unite with heart centered community and find daily ritual in morning practice, meditation and shared meals.
  • Connect with the healing energy vortexes of this sacred land and also the innate power of your own breath and body to transmute and transform.
  • Activities include: yoga, meditation, hiking, sound healing, fire ceremony, horse alchemy, guided medicine wheel, and so much more!
We truly are the ones we’ve been waiting for! If you feel the call, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or check out the details HERE. $500 deposit saves your spot and payment plans are available.

Spring Equinox Rituals

All this talk of cycles, we are finally closing out winter and moving full-force into Spring on Saturday, March 20th. Here are five rituals you may utilize to welcome the Spring Equinox:
  1. Greet The Sun: 108 Sun Salutations to welcome this "take action" season of growth. Practice alone or gather a group outside so you can to really connect to the sun and earth energy. Alternatively, you might chant 108 repetitions of a mantra using a mala to count. Most malas have 108 beads.
  2. Plant Some Seeds: Literally and figuratively. Start a little window garden or potted herbs. As you plant your seeds in the soil, also plant your intentions for this season of life. You could gather a few friends to do this together. Cycle-Sync to Spring, a time of growth, transformation, and taking intentional action. What ideas have been hibernating in your heart and mind over the winter? What are the first steps you can take to ring them to life?
  3. Spring Clean: Clean your house / closet / purse / car / pantry. Dedicate a day to cleaning out a part of your life that feels heavy, cluttered, chaotic, or burdened to make room for the new and intentional. Here is my favorite dietary cleanse I use to reset: CLEAN
  4. Get Your Vitamin N: Nature, it does a body good!! Get outside this weekend. Go for a hike or bike ride, take in the beauty, breeze, and buds (flowers, that is). You can also start to create ritual around getting outside everyday. Maybe a walk at the same time to break up your day and clear your mind.
