ABOUT ME

Picture
I grew up the heart of the Texas Hill Country and was raised in a loving family who always encouraged me to explore the world and pursue my dreams. That encouragement carried me far beyond home. While at university, I took my first solo trip to Europe and caught the travel bug for good. Since then, I’ve traveled to more than 20 countries and lived abroad in Spain, El Salvador, and Israel. Experiencing different cultures deepened my curiosity about how people live, move, eat, and care for their bodies.

My love for health and movement evolved naturally. I explored dance, running, cycling and swimming before discovering the profound connection of mind, body, and spirit through yoga and a holistic approach to life. When I began practicing yoga consistently, something shifted. Yoga challenged my body, illuminated my mind, and awakened my spirit in a way no other practice had. It created a deep sense of peace and connection and sparked my desire to understand how to better move, fuel, and care for my body.

The inspiration for Wild Acorn Wellness was born in 2011 during a class with Seane Corn at Wanderlust Yoga & Music Festival. Before teaching, she spoke about the potential within each of us, comparing it to a tiny acorn with the capacity to grow into a mighty oak. The metaphor resonated deeply. I recognized my own untapped energy, creativity, power, and ultimately the dedication to nurture it. Growth didn’t happen overnight, but slowly and steadily I've committed to being a lifelong student and teacher of yoga.

I completed my first 200-hour RYT in 2012 and continued my studies with advanced training at Dharma Yoga in 2014. In 2018, I found my teachers at Del Sol Yoga in Austin, who guided me beyond simply teaching yoga into truly living and embodying it. I completed my 300-hour RYT there in October 2018. Teacher training expanded not only my knowledge but my heart, allowing me to share yoga in a grounded, authentic way.

Alongside yoga, I pursued functional fitness training and completed certifications through Onnit Academy in Foundations, Durability, and Kettlebells. I now integrate bodyweight strength training and kettlebell work into my offerings, helping women build resilience, stability, and confidence in their bodies.
I am also certified as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and prenatal and postpartum doula. Through holistic health coaching I assess the internal and external stressors impacting women’s health and create personalized, cycle-synced wellness programs. I specialize in supporting women during pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause - life stages that require informed, compassionate, and strength-based care.

I believe women's wellness isn’t about perfection or restriction. It’s about learning to nourish and move your body in ways that honor the stage of life you’re in, whether that’s rebuilding strength postpartum or navigating the transitions of perimenopause. Through thoughtfully designed yoga classes, strength training programs, holistic coaching, and retreat experiences, I help women reconnect with their vitality, resilience, and inner wisdom. From that place, sustainable wellness can grow and thrive!

These days, you can find me immersed in the joys of motherhood, teaching yoga and functional fitness, guiding women to live in alignment with their cycles and life stages, spending time outdoors, traveling and cooking nourishing meals for the people I love.

I am honored and humbled to meet you here. May we learn, grow, and evolve alongside one another. It’s going to be a great adventure!
