Yin is the feminine, dark, passive, receptive, withdrawn, cool, introspective aspects of life. Yin yoga was developed by Paul Grilley to penetrate deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility while invigorating the nadi energy centers of the body to release blockages and increase your energy flow. Focusing on static movement, breath, and meditation to create a profoundly deep and rewarding practice. You are encouraged to not use your muscles and passive poses are held for several minutes in order to release fascial connective tissue and bring elasticity into the body.

Yoga nidra is defined as yogic sleep. According to the Yoga Nidra Netork, "Yoga nidra is a great treasure, a potent meditative resource for healing, insight, and empowerment. It's a state of consciousness in which we are invited to re-encounter the essential truth of who we really are. Yoga nidra provides us with the opportunity to experience deep freedom. It welcomes us all home to ourselves." While you lie in savasana, you’re instructed through a deep relaxation exercise to systematically reduce stress, improve sleep, and restore your spirit. You can utilize this practice as a power nap or to lull you to deep restful sleep. The practice guides you through the layers of our being. The sequence of cues relaxes the body and awakens the unconscious and subconscious mind. This practice will leave you feeling incredibly relaxed, present and rejuvenated.
This is a soulful dive into clearing the energetic and emotional bodies while awakening and expanding the light body. Deep breathing has been found to facilitate profound emotional releases, open new channels of awareness and clear toxicity in the body. This journey incorporates guided visualization, deep breathing techniques, vibrational sound, soulful music, energy healing, and light body expansion techniques to facilitate a personal sacred journey into the depths of your own soul and beyond.
